BREADTH OF LIFE
LIFE Academy Charter School is proudly located in Montgomery, Alabama, on the historic grounds of St. Jude Educational Institute. Established in 1946, St. Jude was the first institution to provide educational equality and freedom to the African American community. During times of segregation and economic hardship, it served as a beacon of hope for Montgomery. In 1965, during the Selma to Montgomery March, the campus became a place of refuge for those attacked on Bloody Sunday, symbolizing resilience and restoration.
With these same beliefs, LIFE Academy continues to make a positive, lasting impact on our students, families, and community. We offer a high-quality education that builds on each scholar’s existing skills and experiences, providing opportunities to foster personal growth, develop critical thinking, and cultivate self-discipline for lifelong success.
