LIFE Value

Leaders Influencing Freedom and Excellence

Breadth of LIFE...

LIFE Academy Charter School is located in Montgomery Alabama, on the historical grounds of St. Jude Educational Institute. Established in 1946, St Jude Educational Institute were the first to offer educational equality and freedom to the African American community. During the time of segregation and economic struggle, St Jude was a beacon of hope and light to the city of Montgomery. During the Selma to Montgomery March in 1965, this campus was a place of refuge and restoration for those attacked on that awful Bloody Sunday. With the same beliefs. We aim to make a significant positive impact on students, families, and our community. We provide our scholars with a high-quality education, founded on their current skills and experience. We provide our learners’ opportunities to further personal growth and develop critical thinking. Through our dedicated faculty and innovative programs, LIFE Academy maintains a supportive learning environment that empowers students to achieve their full potential. We prioritize academic excellence, character development, and community engagement, LIFE Academy plays a crucial role in shaping the lives of its students and preparing them for a successful future. Over the next three years we plan to serve over 800 students and employ approximately 75 residents. In five years, we aim to open LIFE Academy high school to serve over 1,300 students, and employ over 100 residents. We’re excited about this opportunity to serve.
