Meet our Founder/CEO

Norma Lubin is a United States Air Force retiree. She was graced to serve at the level of the top 2% of the enlisted force, at the rank of E- 8 and retired with 24 years active duty service. Currently, Norma is the Founder and CEO of LIFE3 Academy in Montgomery, Alabama. LIFE3 Academy is a public charter school. In its fourth year of operation, the school serves grades k-6 and grew from 180 in the first year to the current enrollment of 600+. Norma’s leadership is vital to the school’s financial viability and academic growth. She dedicates herself to their mission, “to develop life-long learners to be self- discipline, self-sustained leaders of their community, capable of solving global issues”.


Norma’s military experience allowed her travels that include Montgomery AL, Columbus MS, Ramstein Germany, Saudi Arabia (in support of Desert Storm/Desert Shield), Qatar (in support of Iraqi Enduring Freedom), South Korea and Ruston LA. During her service, she served as a key advisor to her leadership in the areas of employee safety, job proficiency, asset management, and budgeting. Further, Norma held the office of Director of Education at the United States First Sergeant Academy in Montgomery, Alabama. There, she was responsible for teacher certifications, curriculum development, test evaluations and institution accreditation. She also gained experience in policy and procedure research, operational process analysis, strategic planning, and project/relationship management.

Norma Lubin has an International footprint in Sri Lanka, India and Liberia. Her faith allowed her to lead teams to provide over 30,000 meals to local nationals, dug wells for 2 villages that had no clean drinking water, distributed over 1,000 pounds of clothes/toiletries/toys and directed leadership seminars to over 200 community leaders. She uses her belief to encourage, motivate and inspire leaders globally. Beyond her career, she has a passion to tackle tough issues with the belief that one person can make a difference.

Originally from Lake Charles LA, she and her husband (Shonta) have 2 children and 2 grandchildren. They serve their local church, leading the International Missions team. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resource Management and a Master of Science degree in Organizational Leadership. Currently Norma is pursuing her Doctoral degree in Business Administration at Columbia Southern University, Orange Beach Alabama.
