Meet our Founder/CEO
Norma Lubin is the Founder and CEO of LIFE3 Academy in
Montgomery, Alabama. LIFE3 Academy is a public charter school. In
its third year of operation, the school serves grades k-6 and grew
from 180 in the first year to the current enrollment of 500+. Norma’s
leadership is vital to the school’s financial viability and academic
growth. She dedicates herself to their mission, “to serve in a manner
that transforms the future of families and the community”.
Norma is a retired USAF Senior Master Sergeant with 24 years of
active military leadership experience. Her travels include
Montgomery AL, Columbus MS, Ramstein Germany, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, South Korea and Ruston LA.
During her service, she served as a key advisor to her leadership in the areas of employee safety, job proficiency, asset management, and budgeting. Further, Norma held the office of Director of Education at the United States First Sergeant Academy in Montgomery, Alabama where she was responsible for teacher certifications, curriculum development, test evaluations and institution accreditation. She also gained experience in policy and procedure research, operational process analysis, strategic planning, and project/relationship
management.

Norma Lubin has an International footprint in Sri Lanka, India and Liberia. She led her team to provide over 20,000 meals to local nationals, dug wells for 2 villages that had no clean drinking water, distributed over 1,000 pounds of clothes/toiletries/toys and directed leadership seminars to over 200 community leaders. Beyond her career, she has a passion to tackle tough issues with the belief that one person can make a difference.
Originally from Lake Charles LA, she and her husband (Shonta) have 2 children. They serve their local church and serve on the International Mission team. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resource Management and a Master of Science degree in Organizational Leadership.
Currently she is pursuing her Doctoral degree in Business Administration at Columbia Southern University, Orange Beach Alabama.
